I hope that you are reading this,
some of your actions and behaviour have been somehow unreasonable and made everyone worried sick about it...
I could understand that you want to develop a very good relationship with God and I'm not saying that it's not good.
It is just that you are trying so hard to cope with everything, and nothing goes in the way you expect it to be.

Most of the things in life to my view right now that you should give more priority on were neglected.
I suppose your parents will have the same thought as mine, that we still want you to put your best effort on studies.
And I know that you want to maitain the relationship with your family members, your parents might never understand the situation that you are in right now.

The burden that you are carrying is killing you and your life.
Your physical and mental condition is pulling you down from doing a lot of great things.

You were a different person to me
since the moment you have a different perception to brain or beauty.

Silly billy week...

I was surprised that my mom called me the other day.. she was suppose to be in a retreat at some ulu mountain for a year it's 1 of the places where u can't get any connection with the outside world. Well.. she called and i almost broke down to tears. On the phone, i pleaded her to let me go back to malaysia... it was silly! I miss home.. It always happens to me that I will only start appreciating things once I lost it.. argh... such a bad habit..

Two weeks ago, I had my mid semester break yes i know, time past so fast! I dreaded the exams which were coming up just after the holidays.. wish that I have spend more time on it. However, it turned out to be pretty easy.. it was all in the form of multiple choice questions.. like doing work in kindi.. so much easier than A-levels.. NOW.. i wonder how did i got through the years in High school and college for the past 4 years... *it was super tough! I would praised myself because I survived! hehe....

Eventhough it's been fairly easy to pass my exams due to less competition between students compared to that in Melbourne. However, I'm not going to put myself to ease as I'm NOT here to just PASS my exams only! I'm here to EXCEL! There's no point of going to uni if students think that studying is just in order to get a degree as a permit to work. I found that life in uni is fun, and the topics that they taught were so informative and interesting!

Arhahah... after such a looong week in uni, I plan to reward myself, heheh... me, my roommate, and my housemate had sign up for a trip to Barossa valley. It consists of more than 60 wineries, and known to be the best place in South Australia to get some good wine.

I will rapped up with some of my silly photos dedicated to my silly cousin taken in front of the laptop on the floor next to my table after such a looong stressful week.

Farewell to Chi Young!

The other day Chi Young left our house, it was so sad that she has to leave. I have lots of fun staying with her. We were almost in tears when she left. *sob sob! However I'm really happy for her because she found a very nice place to stay. That night, we celebrated in her new house.

In order to learn how to make sushi, we attended her Japanese cooking class!

Erhm... this is chicken with erhmm... can't remember... but it's really delicious!

Haha... 3 of us beginners made this! Believe it or not! Salad prawn sushi!

Super delicious HOT JAPANESE pancake which taste similar to taco!

Haha... it was one of the most comfortable nights since i have been here.
We sat, eat and chat for whole long 5 hours!

Passionate but sicked of PSYC1104!

Trying not to make any complains about this topic! *coz basically i don't want to regret on choosing this as an elective

Hahah.. anyway, I have never thought that i would take up such ridiculous topic in my lifetime! Seriously... i still don't understand why i have put PSYCHOLOGY down into my enrolment list and marked with a "*", which basically means IMPORTANT. *furthermore, before this I can't even spell psychology correctly.First day in lecture was odd, the lecture hall is HUGE and packed with lots of student, *they just swam out from no where! and none of them i know who's not born and breed here in Adelaide. It was kinda scary, being such a odd ball in class, especially being a student with black hair which stands out so much... *aih... paiseh'nya!

However, to my surprise, I fell for the topic. Psychology is really interesting and amazing by how you can predicted someone behaviour and mind. And often predictions made were pretty much accurate! From there I could see how we can apply knowledge from these topic to various field in our everyday life, such as issues related to family, education, work, treatment... etc (even training little animals to do unnatural routines) AMAZING!

As a matter of fact, I have been doing lots of reading and prep before class... it's exhausting! I have been up until early morning for the past few days just for the prep! To make matters worse, i just realise that i have to hand in my assignments in a few more weeks time... *oh gosh i haven't even prepare or read up any external information about my assignment, and I'm so going to flung this paper... but I hope not!

This few days, my roommate have been really stressful too, she has to attend a clinical placement at the emergency ward in Adelaide Hospital tomorrow, and this is her first time! She just have stay up late at night too, and I can see how nervous she is!

That night, she COOKED me supper!
To be honest, this is the best comfort food i had since arriving Adelaide!

Hahah... u guys will be shock if i tell u this! I'm so HAPPY to see the first spider on my bed, next to my pillow after blogging last night... after loooong learning about spiders in South Australia were HUGE!

Took a picture of it and then I woke my Japanese room mate in the middle of the night... we tried to catch it but failed. It was hidding at the corner of my bed where it can't be reach... *smart fella!

But i still decided to sleep with it on my bed coz i'm tired... zzzzzz... FULLSTOP! * my room mate told me that it's not poisonous.... Nightie!

Well... I miss those days espeacially shopping for clothes in 1U with my best buddy RUEY WEN, eventough we have really different taste in fasion. However, at least we are not going to catfight over the same piece of clothing... heheh...

The very first thing when i arrived at my current house is go for grocery shopping... (don't blame gurls from doing it) and I enjoy it lol...

After meeting up new people and making some new friends from the Orientation week, I proposed that spending time together on buying stuff will be the best excuses to kill time! *evil grin... heheh...

NO LA! (malaysian slang) That's not what I really meant!

I have been going for grocery shopping almost every weekend with Evelynn (the gurl who pokes!)... and we brought our new friend along who's doing the same course as I'm, Jacyn (a bruneian.. hey new word to my dictionary!). Oh... and I caught a pic of them in central market buying vege (luv them)! erhm... the one on the left behind the stall... yah she's the shopkeeper, nice lady, selling vege at a reasonable price in central market... sorry about that... back into our topic, the middle one is Evelynn and Jacyn at the side.

Both of them are lovely and friendly, furthermore we share many things in common (coz sitting in the same boat mah!), I'm just glad that we meet each other. Thanx gurls!

I'm going to make this short coz i'm so tired I'm going to sleep now...

It's been a really busy week for me in Adelaide... for u guys who doesn't know.. ( i arrived on the 17th ). My classes won't be starting in another 7 days time, so I'm doing some readings and attending some classes on academic integrity, plagiarism, critical thinking and all sorts.

Oh gosh... Plagiarism.... this is something that I'm not familiar at all ( i have never even heard about it before ), and the lecturers are really... i mean REALLY REALLY particular about...
Honestly, it worries me a lot... because since young i was taught just to summarize some articles and journals ( most of the time copying down main points and changing a few words ) and i bet most of us, Malaysian were taught that way too... Now in Uni, they expect us to put other peoples idea into our own words... It's HARD!

Skipping the saddest part of the story, I'm trying really HARD to learn how to be independent! I used to see myself as a very YOUNG, SMART (heheh... sorry! :P ) and INDEPENDENT lady! Well... just after i arrived at the airport in Adelaide... i PANIC coz no one from my uni came to pick me up... (oh gosh how could i...) To make matter worse... it's a SUNDAY! no one is working on a SUNDAY! *sob sob... AM I A BABY? WHY AM I SO LOST?!

I took a cab to my landlord's house, and he is rushing off to some other places, i didn't even had much time to talk to him about my room... and he's GONE! I SUCKED IN LIFE! aiyoh.... tough tough situation for me.. Luckily, a very helpful housemate drop me at the nearest shopping centre, Marion shopping centre ( the largest shopping mall in South Australia ) wakakaka.... :D!

At the end of the day, i got myself with lots of bags of groceries.... and i took a bus home.
Well.... that's not it yet! i broke my bottle of balsamic vinegar on my way walking back... WHY AM I SO CARELESS?! the plastic bag just tore off.... the plastic bags here in Adelaide aren't so rigid as Malaysia's. Aih... i should have realised it earlier..

Not to mention about my room... it's in a mess when i got there... it's dirty and it's not what i was expecting... After 1 week of cleaning, it's now in a neat and clean condition! heheh... i really love it now!

WELL! from now onwards I'm going to bring my own shopping bag out! (heheh... save our environment mah...) And all this will not stop me from seeing myself as a SUCCESFUL, SMART and INDEPENDENT YOUNG lady! heheh...

The truth behind disposable chopsticks!

Ever thought of how safe is it to put it to our daily food and into our mouth?
How clean are they?
How many bamboo trees have to be cut down to produce these many chopsticks?
Many people think that disposable chopsticks are more hygienic because after using, they are thrown away.

I hope that the information that I'm going to provide below will help some of my friends and bloggers to realise the disadvantages of using disposable bamboo chopsticks!

Let me tell you how bamboo chopsticks are made!

1. Most of the bamboo trees in Southeast Asia are being cut down...

. .

2.Ask your hawkers where their chopsticks are produce...
Production of these chopsticks are from Central of Vietnam...

3. Bleach using sulphur and hydrogen peroxide.

This process is not to disinfect the chopsticks, but they are using it to make it looks white and clean.

Consequences after using chopsticks with all these chemicals :

a.Suffer difficult breathing, vomit, diarrhoea etc. and loss of calcium due to sulfur.
b.Suffer Asthma and difficult in breathing.
c.Sulfur contains heavy metal chemical such as lead and mercury. d.Such heavy metal can accumulate in our body and can cause lead poisoning or mercury poisoning.
e.Lymph cancer.

4.Drying process..

Upon packing, these chopsticks will be shipped to our country and being distributed to the restaurants... and into our mouth! (yucks!)

Furthermore it requires a twenty years old tree to produce 3000-4000 pairs of chopsticks, and after using these chopsticks.... of cause it will all end up like that!

LOOK how it will going to affect our environment?!

Conclusion, disposable chopstiocks are NOT CLEAN for start, it DESTROYS OUR ENVIRONMENT and moreover it is DANGEROUS FOR OUR HEALTH!

So,the only solution right now is to stop using disposable chopsticks and bring your own chopsticks where ever you go... ( I find it difficult to do it at first espeacially doing all the explanation to others, but now I felt good doing my part for the environment and keeping myself safe. At the same time, spreading awareness to others too!)

Reflection...

It was my first time witnessing a fire cremation at PJ crematory. She was a very lovely lady... sometimes i even wish she was my mum! (ps* sorry mum!)
My mum had been a very good friend of her for a few years now. For the fact that she was blind for the past 20 years, my mum have been reading dhamma books to her almost everyday. Eventually, our family and theirs grow really close..
Aunt Ming Pow had always been giving me a lot of little gifts like pebble sweet (which r really expensive), baking my favourite cheese, choc, coffee almond, lemon and orange cakes... (they tasted fabulous!). Not to mention about how much she gave me for Ang Pao and money for me to use b4 going to Australia, she has given me lots of love and care.. she would HUG me when I'm down and CUDDLE me when i need some kindness and warmth.. and I MISS HER!
She pass away last Saturday morning.. (which explains why i haven't been on9 for such a long time). I was terrified to have the first sight of her in her coffin. Her funeral was simple, there were only chairs and table, some white roses and a coffin in her living room (so unexpected simple ceremony for people so rich). The atmosphere at her house was so humid and down, everyone in the house were moaning for her death. Since my mum have not even give a drop of tears (she was a very tough person), I told myself to STAY STRONG too and I tried to control my tears, it was difficult!
During the day of cremation, my mum broke off into tears under the arms of one of my aunt's sisters.. (this is my officially first time seeing my mum in tears) I PANIC! I felt like crying.. seeing someone so closed and loved crying, heart broken..
Glad for not crying, I hereby give my thanks to Aunt Ming! I love to share my Merits to you. May you be free from mental suffering, may you be free from physical suffering and may you be well and happy always...

There are many incidents in our lives that makes us happy or sad. I almost become the victim of a thief.

It was a Thursday night, me and Ruey Wen were at the night market looking for food! Tau Fu Fa Tong Yuen! The street was very crowded, and the hawkers there created a hustle and bustle that made me feel uneasy.

I walk down through the pedestrian walkway calmly. My thoughts were however far away as i was preoccupied with the upcoming gathering dinner which was just around the corner. Suddenly, i heard a SNAP! Then i turn around to find that a middle-aged lady tugged at my bag, which was dangling from my shoulder and she gave me a harsh harsh PUSH!

I turn to my bag only to realise that there's a big hole at the corner of the bag! ARGH... THAT EVIL EVIL PERSON! and my BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BAG...

I consider myself to be really LUCKY coz nothing valueble was gone! and by the way the bag does not belongs to me... it belongs to Ruey Wen... SORRY ABOUT IT DEAR!
